Rebecca Margao, affectionately known as The Black Rebecca, is a faux-fancy lifestyle expert for all things at-home. With a knack for executing luxe style on a budget, she’s the go-to for scouting a deal on Craigslist or hosting an at-home event for your friends. Her love of cocktails and entertaining led to the launch of Happy Hour at Home by TBR, a boutique service offering unique social experiences in a residential setting. These events have become a hot item for corporate and individual clients alike. Corporate clients include luxury residences managed by Bozzuto, Kettler, Avalon Bay, Bonaventure, UDR and more.
Combining her love for fashion and philanthropy, Rebecca is also the co-owner of Red Sprinkle, a comprehensive nonprofit program that introduces area teens to the fashion and entertainment industries. Currently, Red Sprinkle Fashion Bootcamp operates youth programs throughout the DC Metropolitan area. Red Sprinkle has partnered with brands such as NYX Cosmetics, OPI, Color Club Nail Lacquer, Phyto, Neiman Marcus, and more.
Rebecca has been featured on NBC Nonstop, Washingtonian.com, NBCWashington.com, WUSA 9, Let’s Talk Live-Newschannel 8, and The Goodwill Fashionista.
